The DiGiorgio and Maiani families and other cousins have owned and run several eateries throughout South Florida during the past 50 years. The DiGiorgios, living in South Florida, soon learned about Key Largo and fell in love with the locals and their way of life.
After moving to Key Largo in 1991, the DiGiorgio family bought the waterfront property once owned by B & G Goodyear Automotive at Sunset Cove on Florida Bay and renamed it DiGiorgio’s Café Largo.
