You might be surprised to find that there aren’t actually that many RV campgrounds directly in Key West. Luckily, Leo’s Campground is located in Stock Island, just one bridge and a quick drive down to Duval street.
Leo’s has around 50 RV sites available that can fit RV’s up to 42′. All sites are back-in gravel pads with water, electric, and sewage hookups with 30/50 amp service. All sites can also accommodate one additional personal vehicle.
All campers planning a stay at Leo’s should have self-contained rigs with bathrooms and showers as this campground does not have a bathhouse.
Making up for the lack of showers, Leo’s Campground had built up quite a list of amenities including fast wi-fi, tiki huts for relaxing afternoons, a dog park, and easy water access for paddleboards and kayaks.
The most appealing amenity of all at Leo’s is its location. It’s situated directly off the Overseas Hwy just before the bridge to cross onto Key West. This means that a say at Leo’s puts you just a 15-minute drive from the iconic Southernmost Point in the U.S.

If you’re looking to go to Key West then Leo’s (leoscampground.com) is a must stay! They are the best priced campground and the closest to Key West. Not to mention they have water access in the back which was perfect for our paddle boards. We paddled out and you could make it to either the gulf or atlantic, and we even stopped at Hurricane Hole for lunch. Nice and friendly staff, and seems to be family owned which is always a nice thing to support. Will be coming back and can’t recommend leo’s enough!
